Nottinghamshire County Scout Council complies with the Data Protection legislation. In all matters an individual’s personal information is held in compliance with the regulations. Nottinghamshire County Scout Council holds information of members of Nottinghamshire County Scout Council and website users so that the administration of membership can be undertaken with the purpose of achieving the purpose of the company which is the development of young people.

All adult members of Nottinghamshire County Scout Council are required to undertake the online GDPR training as provided by the Scout Association. This is maintained on the Compass membership system. Compass is administered by the Scout Association. Members are asked to access their own profile regularly so they can keep it correct.

Nottinghamshire County Scout Council has agreed a Data Protection Policy. All members who access the personal information of anyone else is required to understand this policy and to comply with it.

All personal information collected for administration and events on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Scout Council must have a Data Protection statement.
