Warm welcome: Arrive anytime between 10 – 12. Parents and guardian will not be allowed in the audition area. There may be a short waiting time as numbers attending are unknown.
Registration: When you arrive, we’ll ask your parent or guardian to complete an electronic registration on a phone or device. If you don’t have one, we’ll have a laptop available for you to use. We will require your parent or guardian’s email address.
You will then enter the audition area, and your parent or guardian will wait in a designated area.
Audition Process: Please don’t be nervous, our team of friendly volunteers are there to offer advice and excited to meet you. Sessions are very informal, with no need to prepare anything in advance. You will learn and sing a song as part of a small group and learn a dance(very much like what you will do at rehearsals each week).
Nearly there: After taking part in the singing and dancing activities participants and their parents/carers will have a short conversation with a volunteer about the commitment involved in being part of the show, along with any reasonable adjustments needed to support participation. We will also chat with each of you to make sure you are excited and happy about being considered for the cast, and that taking part is something you genuinely want to do.
We’ll provide more information about what it means to be involved in Gang Show, and there will be time to ask any questions you may have. A QR code will also be available, giving you access to further information online.
After the auditions, we’ll be in touch via the email address provided to let you know the outcome and whether you’ve been offered a place in the cast.
We hope you’re as excited as we are about this fantastic opportunity! If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch or speak to a member of our team on the day.
